Functional GEF solar power systems

GreenEnergy Finland Oy is the first in Finland to construct a solar wall, which is based on frameless double-glass solar panels and the company’s own product development, as well as a control system based on cloud services. In a solar wall, an ordinary façade is replaced with solar panels, which have decades of service life, and the surface of the wall is used to generate clean solar power.

Functional wall and roof structures; in addition to generating solar power, solar panels form the roof or replace the exterior cladding

  • The solutions are constructed from standard or frameless panels
  • Silicon and thin-film solar panel technology is becoming more common in functional surfaces
  • Typical uses include commercial properties, industrial halls and office buildings
  • Installation is possible on walls and various roof types
  • Solar power is especially suitable in places where daytime energy consumption is high
